AMV / MMV, what is that?

An Anime Music Video (abbreviated AMV) is a music video consisting of clips from one or more anime series or sometimes video games footage put together with music (most of the time not related to the animation world). A Movie Music Video is the same but with movies and TV series footage. The terms usually refers to fan-made unofficial videos. Most of the time the author adds lots of visual effects in order to create a video clip which is equivalent to an official work.
